Putting America First – During the 2016 Presidential election, then Donald Trump, campaigned heavily on an agenda that would make America first. And man oh man did he focus on that during part of his speech. He focused first, on domestic policy such as the economy and the President stated “since the election, we have created 2.4 million new jobs, including 200,000 new jobs in manufacturing alone.” President Trump also said “After years of wage stagnation we are finally seeing rising wages.” The President also talked about how the most recent Tax cut bill “will provide tremendous relief for the middle class and small business” he said with great confidence. He supported that previous statement by following up with “ A typical family of four making 75,000 will see their tax bill reduced by $2,000—slashing their tax bill in half.”

Trump redoing everything Former President Obama did

President Trump made it an apparent fact to state “We repealed the core of disastrous Obamacare—the individual mandate is now gone.” He then continued to speak on Healthcare, he announced last year that the FDA approved more new and generic drugs and medical devices than ever before in our history”, and also calling out to congress by saying “It time for Congress to give these wonderful Americans the “right to try”” he said with great confidence.

President Trump stated in his address to Congress to “produce a bill that generates at least 1.5 trillion dollars for the new infrastructure investment we need. President Trump, feels that “if we can build the Empire State Building in just one year—it is not a disgrace that it can now take up to 10 years to get a permit approved for a simple road”, he said.

President Trump focused much of his immigration plan off of the tragic double-homicide of two little teenage girls Kayla Cuevas, and Nisa Mickens. For those of you who don’t know these two young girls were brutally murdered while walking down the street by MS-13 gang members in their hometown on the night before Nisa`s 16th birthday. Trump said during his speech that “Many of these gang members took advantage of glaring loopholes in our laws to enter the country as unaccompanied alien minors.” Trump wants congress to close the deadly loop holes that have allowed MS-13 and other criminals to break into our country. The President has announced new legislation that has been proposed to fix our immigration laws, and supports our ICE and Border Patrol Agents, so this cannot happen again.
