Greetings everyone!! Well look at that, we are in the presence of the first weekend of July. Summer is moving by so fast, and if you’re like me, you might be finding it difficult to keep up with everything that’s going on. Well worry no more. As always, I’ve found several events that will entertain you as you relax this weekend so let’s see what’s in store and get started!!

You will certainly have a lot to choose from for entertainment this weekend, however, Monday is the real celebration as we get festivities for Independence Day started early with the city favorite, Red, White, and BOOM!! The largest fireworks display in Ohio will be held downtown Columbus and you can visit www.redwhiteandboom.org for details on parking, vendors, activities, and more. Continue the Independence Day celebration on 4th of July, by checking out the Doo Dah Parade. The 34th annual parade will begin at noon featuring a satirical celebration of our country’s independence. Visit www.doodahparade.com for more information.

We can’t leave all of the fun to Independence Day, there will still be plenty of activities throughout the weekend. Sign the kiddos up for the Great inflatable Race being held this Saturday from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. This will be a fun way to get the kids active and moving. This Saturday, Natalie’s Coal Fired Pizza will feature a performance from Deuce ‘n a Quarter. The performance will begin at 10 p.m. and admission will be $10.
