Hey there everyone!! It’s really starting to look like Christmas with these frigid temperatures we’ve had this week. Hopefully that doesn’t keep you from enjoying the holiday season because there’s still so much going on in the city. Have just a few events that you can have some fun at this weekend. So let’s see what’s going on and get started!!

Live performances continue to be a great way for the whole family to enjoy the season. The Shedd Theatre will showcase a performance of Madeline’s Christmas this Friday beginning at 6:30. Presented by CATCO, tickets for this children’s classic can be purchased for an admission of $15 by clicking here. Another family event to checkout this weekend is Berwick Holiday Bazaar. This Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., browse through various vendors to find goodies perfect for the holiday season. Be sure to stop by Berwick K-8 Alternative for this free event.

Having a meal with Santa has become somewhat of a tradition in recent years. This Saturday beginning at 10 a.m., Camelot Cellars will host Brunch with Santa. This event will help support Nationwide Children’s Hospital whole collecting gifts for the Toys & Needs drive. Guests will also have a chance to take pictures with the big guy and make Christmas cookies with Mrs. Clause. Tickets will be $19.95 for adults and $8.95 for children, so click here to purchase your spot. Let the decorating continue with the Jingle all the Way Cupcake Ornament Decorating Workshop. This Saturday from 2 – 5 p.m., the whole family can have some fun while decorating these unique ornaments to have for years to come. This event will have an admission of $35 and will be held at the Gather event space at 629 Parsons Ave.

If spending time with the family becomes a bit overwhelming, then make sure you kick of the weekend with the only party you need to be at, HERE FRIDAYS at Copious. This week will feature the album release party for An Idiot’s Guide to Anarchy as well as a performance from Play House featuring Renee Dion. Tickets are available and you can get them here.
