Greetings everyone!! I hope you all are having a good week. I know how hard it is to be trapped in the office all week during these summer days filled with great weather when all you want to do is get out and enjoy it all. Well that’s what the weekends are for and each one is filled with something fun for everyone. This week is no different so let’s get started and see what’s in store!!This weekend we will celebrate Fathers’ Day so be sure to show the big guy some love. You can do so by taking him to the Fatherhood Expo at Huntington Park this weekend. This 3 day event will kick off on Friday with a Clippers game that includes a pre-game party 5:30 p.m. Saturday will be filled several activities including a breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and at 9 a.m. there will be a family fun zone, a market place, a Fit Fathers health Pavilion, and more. The Expo will close out on Sunday with another game from the Clippers. Visit for more information. Also taking place on Sunday will be the 1st Annual Fathers’ Day Cookout being held from noon to 5 p.m. at Mock Park. There will be free food, kid activities, vendors, a basketball tournament, football, spades tournament, and more. Dads will receive a swag bag so click here to purchase your $5 tickets today.

It’s PRIDE month and this weekend city will celebrate with Columbus Pride in the Bicentennial & Genoa Park areas. There will be activities this Friday through Sunday with the can’t miss Parade kicking off this Saturday at 11 a.m. Visit for a full list of events.

Continue to enjoy great music with some great music events this weekend. The Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival returns to Gahanna to host musicians from near and far for 3 days of a good time. Tickets will range from $10 to $21 and you can purchase them from On Saturday check out the Spring Soulstice 2017 being held at the merry Makers Club on Spring St. Beginning at 7 p.m., enjoy a dope kick back that will include live music, food trucks, drinks, and more. Since you’ve been patient all week, waiting for the weekend to begin, then you deserve a good party to kick everything off. You already know by now that the hottest party in the city is HERE FRIDAYS at Copious, but this week will feature a special event. Recording artist, Bilal, will be on hand performing live.
