The defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs are welcoming back one of their most dangerous weapons. Running back Isiah Pacheco, who missed most of the season due to injury, rejoined the team on Friday as the Chiefs faced the Las Vegas Raiders.

Pacheco was cleared from the injured reserve list two weeks ago, USA TODAY reported. He then had to wait 21 days before he can play in a game. The star running back practiced with the team throughout the week before taking the field in Friday’s game.

Pacheco sustained an injury in week 2 when the Chiefs faced the Cincinnati Bengals. The 25-year-old running back, who left the game with crutches and a walking boot, was diagnosed with a fractured fibula.

While Pacheco missed time, running back Kareem Hunt carried the load for the Chiefs. Hunt, who signed with the team after Pacheco’s injury, leads the team in rushing with 577 yards, ESPN reported. Now, the Chiefs will try to figure out how to split the carries between the two running backs.

“Both of them are good players so we’ll find a way to get both of them in,” Reid said, per ESPN. “That’s a good problem to have.”

Offensive coordinator Matt Nagy also raved about the qualities of both running backs.

“Both want the football, which is a great thing. They’re really good when they have the football,” Nagy said, per ESPN. “They’re physical, they’re violent and Pacheco brings that Energizer Bunny mentality of the excitement, the fire. You put that together with Kareem, and it is a great 1-2 punch. So I think more than anything, it’s just refreshing to see him out there.”
