Hey there everyone!! We are in the middle of spooky season and the city continues to fill the weekend with fun activities everyone can enjoy. From festivals to concerts, this weekend is packed with things for you to do. I have all of the details so let’s see what’s going on and get started!
Boo at the Zoo returns to the Columbus Zoo and will feature family favorites for your entire crew. Activities include a hay maze, musical celebrations, adventure presentations, a trick-or-treat trail, the Zoo Boo Choo-Choo, and so much more. All activities are included with regular zoo admission and it all takes place throughout the weekend and will run until the end of the month.
Another family event to check out will be the Groveport Blacklick Haunted Park. Being held this Friday and Saturday, this event will give everyone a fun filled scare as two sessions will be available for different age groups. Be sure to get there early as the first 200 kids will receive a fun goodie bag. Admission will be $5 and proceeds will go towards Groveport Human Needs & The Groveport Food Pantry.
This Saturday is Sweetest Day and if you need a last minute idea, then try checking out the Sweetest Day Weekend 2022 concert at the Palace Theater. Starting at 7:30 PM this Friday, the show will include performances from Tony! Toni! Tone!, SWV, and Dave Hollister. Tickets start at $64 and are still available.
Lastly, close out the weekend with everyone’s favorite throwback party, The ReDO. The vinyl kickback returns to The Forum with this month’s edition providing a special meet and greet with local candidates for this year’s election. This meet and greet will be held from 4-5 PM with the party to follow. Tickets will start at $10 and drink specials will be available.
I’m excited to see all of the fall fun return after a few years of being absent. This season is always filled with great entertainment and I look forward to it every year.
