1. The Wexner Center for Arts: Black God, White Devil

This new restoration of one of the central films of the radical Brazilian Cinema Novo movement of the 1960s is a can’t-miss part of your film education.

Glauber Rocha’s film takes place in two parts, in an arid desert. Filled with bandits, religious fanatics, hired killers, and rebellious workers, the film is an allegory against mindless fanaticism that reworks Western and Brazilian history. Rocha’s uncompromising and revolutionary cinema was also in dialogue with his contemporary Sarah Maldoror.

2. The Hashtage Comedy Company:

Step into the unpredictable world of laughter at our stand-up comedy open mic, where spontaneity reigns supreme! We not only welcome new & seasoned stand-up comedians but also invite the creativity of improv and sketch comedy performers. The stage is a dynamic space where quick-witted stand-ups, impromptu improv artists, and sketch comedy maestros converge to deliver a night of laughter and limitless comedic possibilities.

3. Kawsay Ukhunchay Andean and Amazonian Indigenous Art and Cultural Artifacts Research Collection:
