ABOUT:
Dr. Hamidah Sharif – Often called, Queen Shuga, Hamidah Sharif, EdD is the Principal Grower and Executive Pastry Chef for Sweet Valley Bakery & Farmstand in Georgia.

Most notably, Dr. Sharif has recently launched her own zero-calorie, natural sugar alternative, Mommas Shuga Sweetener, to curb the harmful health effects of sugar consumption on Americans.

Dr. Sharif has been dedicated to providing health access and healthy food alternatives for at-risk communities for over 20 years.

She currently manages over 15 acres of farmland, a food distribution company, and a gourmet sugar-free bakery in Middle Georgia. When she is not in the kitchen crafting a new recipe or on the field chasing hens, you can find her teaching public health and agriculture at Fort Valley State University.

Dr. Celeste Owens is a sought-after international speaker and facilitator whose mission is to equip people to live free and whole through the surrender of spirit, mind, and body. She uses the word of God and psychological principles to bring others to total wellness.

A 12-year Breast Cancer survivor, Dr. Celeste has personally experienced the advancing power of surrender. In 2010 she surrendered her diet to God and through the process of fasting adopted a clean-eating lifestyle. In fact, her personal battle with cancer inspired her to become a Certified Natural Health Professional. Now this once self-proclaimed “junk-food-junkie” is thriving post cancer and inspires others to do the same.

Dr. Celeste is the author of several books including The 40-Day Surrender Fast and Making Peace with Hunger. She resides in Maryland with her husband of 18 years and two teenage children.
