Recording artist T-Pain shared a sensible message to his nearly five million followers regarding foolishly spending money on a private jet.
The Florida native took to Instagram to reveal how it doesn’t make sense to spend a lot of money “to go make money,” using the cost of taking a private jet to illustrate that day’s economics lesson.
“To take a private jet from Atlanta, to Vegas and then back to Atlanta is $126,000. And y’all are asking me…Do you understand what I’m saying?” he said in the video clip.
He then asked mock questions in a way that made it seem like he is asked these types of questions often.
“Are you OK now? Do you feel like it? No private debt jet? What? You not taking a private jet? You’re not spending all this money to go make money,” he continued. “Why would you do that? In what world is that smart?”
He ended the video by saying that if he were to do something like this, people would criticize him for doing so, leading him to say, “Then y’all would be like, ‘He’s going broke again.”
If the man born Faheem Rashad Najm wanted to take a private jet, he definitely could. The successful music producer recently sold his publishing catalog and select masters to HarbourView Equity Partners.
While he is not taking private jets, the successful entrepreneur is making moves with his label and entertainment company, Nappy Boy Entertainment. The other entities he owns and runs include Nappy Boy Automotive, Nappy Boy Gaming, and Nappy Boy Dranks.
The “Rappa Ternt Sanga” also hosts his own podcast and doubles as a host, director, and editor while also being an expert drift driver, actor, author, and spokesperson.
