With the Nativity holiday just days away, Netflix has a diverse range of movies that cater to the coziness of this season. Among the fan favorites is The Christmas Chronicles,  starring Kurt Russell as Santa Claus. This fun adventure follows two siblings hoping to save Christmas after their plans go haywire. Like most movies of this time of year, this Clay Kaytis-directed film emphasizes the importance of family, no matter the circumstances.

While this 2018 Netflix original is a fun go-to, it is just one of the many wintertime stories the streamer has to offer. For romantic comedy connoisseurs, there are plenty of lovey-dovey storylines that take place against a backdrop of snow and poinsettias. As we prepare for Santa Claus’ arrival and time with our loved ones, here are seven of the best Christmas movies on Netflix right now to set the feel-good vibes.

In order to re-encounter him, Layla enlists the help of a professional concierge (Devale Ellis), to help her get tickets to a sold-out Christmas concert in New York City where James will be. However, on her quest for James, a new love interest emerges.

Best. Christmas. Ever (2023)

Suburban mom Charlotte (Heather Graham) is the competitive star of Best.Christmas.Ever, who decides to spend the holiday with a gal pal, Jackie (Brandy Norwood). However, this pair is part friends, part enemies, with Charlotte having a slight jealousy toward Jackie due to her perfect family image. During their time together, Charlotte wants to pull the veil back on Jackie’s life, but this will certainly test their already rocky bond. This is a perfect Christmas movie on Netflix for those who are used to that ever-so-familiar ‘frenemies’ dynamic.

While trying to keep this information to themselves, they must also grapple with past feelings, which they both believed were long buried.

Single All the Way (2021)

He concocts a plan to have his best friend, Nick (Philemon Chamber) portray his lover to appease his family. However, unbeknownst to him, his parents already have plans of their own to play matchmaker. This too-cute LGBT+ Christmas rom-com is stacked with feel good magic, perfect for the season, especially if you love the fake-dating trope.
