The Columbus Arts Festival – named a Top 10 festival in the country by USA Today and Sunshine
Artist magazine – returns to the downtown riverfront June 12-14. Presented by the American
Electric Power Foundation, the Festival is packed with fun for all ages: hundreds of artists, live
performances, local food and drink, and hands-on activities.

More than 250 local and national artists will showcase their work, from painting and
photography to jewelry and ceramics. Artists come from across the country for the Festival –
including more than 50 from Ohio.

The Festival also features four stages of Columbus-based artists performing live music, dance,
theater and poetry throughout the weekend. Friday, June 12 the Genoa Park Stage hosts the
Fashion As Art runway show featuring local designers, while the Columbus Jazz performs at
Bicentennial on Sunday, June 14!

There are plenty of opportunities to get interactive, too! At the all-ages Kids Hands-On Activity
Village, volunteers from local cultural organizations teach painting, printmaking, tap dance and
more. The Big Local Arts Village sits at the Franklinton entrance, where more than 60
Columbus-based artists and creatives demonstrate and sell their work.

You won’t leave hungry from the Arts Festival! From burgers and barbecue, international eats,
vegetarian and vegan meals, the Festival features something for everyone. Sip a Rhinegeist
beer or a High Bank Distillery boozy slushie or cool off with a lemon shake-up and scoop of
Graeter’s ice cream!
