The Who’s Who In Black Columbus event on November 21, 2024 celebrated record-breaking attendance, honoring over 300 remarkable individuals who have made significant contributions to the community.
In the 18th edition, which was unveiled, Alex Shumate Senior Partner of Squire Patton Boggs wrote an inspiring foreword, and Vinita Clements, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at Nationwide provided a powerful introduction.
“The event recognized outstanding leaders across various sectors, with special congratulations extended to the Columbus Living Legends, Game Changers, and Emerging Leaders — individuals whose groundbreaking work continues to shape the city’s future.
This edition also included feature stories about Historic Black Colleges and Universities, The African American Leadership Acadamy and a story about the impact of Black women and men in the ever-growing Columbus Fashion Revolution.” says Dr. Carter D. Womack, Chief Operating Officer for Who’s Who In Black.
The evening was a celebration of Black Excellence, resilience, and talent within the community, highlighting those who uplift and inspire others. This milestone event not only showcased the extraordinary achievements of those in attendance but also reinforced the ongoing legacy of impact and leadership in Columbus, setting the stage for continued growth and success.
